At the Travelinp TeaPot Experience, we want every celebration to be as seamless and delightful as the tea itself. To help ensure everything goes smoothly, please review the following guidelines regarding reservations, payments, and rentals.
Reservations & Payments
Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Your event date and selected tea items are reserved once a 25% non-refundable deposit has been received.
Reservations may be made by phone or email. We will confirm your booking after your deposit has been processed.
The remaining balance is due five (5) days before your scheduled event.We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Zelle, Venmo, and cash. Checks are accepted from registered nonprofits and businesses only.
Please note that credit card payments include a 4% non-refundable processing fee.
Delivery & Pickup of Tea Party Packages
Delivery, professional setup, and pickup are included with all tea party packages for 12 or more guests within Long Beach, Seal Beach, and Los Alamitos.
Events outside these service areas may be subject to an additional travel fee.
For most weekend events, delivery is made on Friday before your event, with pickup on Monday after your event.
If you require same-day delivery and pickup or another schedule, please contact Traveling Teapot Experience. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Smaller Tea Parties & Rental-Only Orders
For tea parties with fewer than 12 guests or rental-only orders, customers may pick up and return items by appointment .
Delivery, setup, and pickup may be added for a $150 service fee. Rental-only orders include a 24-hour rental period, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Items not returned by the agreed-upon date and time will incur a late fee equal to 25% of the rental cost for each additional day they are kept.
Cleaning & Returns
Please empty all teapots, teacups, and serving pieces of food and beverages after your event.
Do not wash or place any vintage china or teaware in a dishwasher. Simply rinse or gently wipe away any remaining residue.
Before pickup or return, repack all items in the containers provided.
If our driver arrives and items have not been repacked, a $75 repacking and cleanup fee will be added.These simple steps help preserve our vintage collection so it can be enjoyed for many gatherings to come.
Damaged, Lost & Missing Items
Our vintage teaware is thoughtfully curated, and many pieces are one of a kind.
Damaged, broken, lost, or missing items will be charged at a replacement value of approximately three to five times the rental fee, depending on rarity and availability.
Please keep all tea ware and décor protected from weather, pets, children, and accidental damage while in your care.Items not returned in the provided containers should be returned as soon as possible to avoid additional charges.

Cancellations & Refunds
Final guest counts and rental quantities must be confirmed seven (7) days before your event. Reductions cannot be made after that time.The 25% reservation deposit is non-refundable, as it secures your event date and reserves inventory specifically for your gathering.
If you cancel 14 or more days before your scheduled event, your deposit may be applied to a future reservation within 12 months, subject to availability.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before your event forfeit the reservation deposit.
Once rental items have left our premises, full rental charges apply, even if some items are not used.
Refunds of eligible payments will be processed within 7–10 business days using the original payment method.
Credit card refunds exclude the 4% non-refundable processing fee.Last-minute bookings are welcome when availability allows. Deposits for last-minute reservations are non-refundable.
Additional Information
In the unlikely event that a reserved item becomes unavailable, we will provide a comparable or upgraded replacement whenever possible.
All teaware, serving pieces, and décor are professionally cleaned, sanitized, and table-ready before every event.
